When they called me about doing this, I sent a text back and I said, “You know, the staff is great. I don’t know about that Collins guy. Give him a hard time.” When I was a kid, I had to go to the dentist. I wouldn’t hold still, nor did I want to be there; I wanted to escape. The dentist tied me down to the dentist’s chair. This is 68 years ago, tried to tie me down to the dentist’s chair. He never worked on my teeth because I finally escaped. My family couldn’t find me for a number of hours. I wouldn’t go back to that place. For a long time, I wouldn’t go to the dentist. I still have this really major dental phobia. The dentists[?] all over the years, I tense up and they would say, “Relax, relax,” and I came here, and the process was easy.
When I first came to this office, at first, I thought, “Well, I’m going to an interior design company.” It looks so nice. Anybody that knows Doctor Collins knows he’s a piece of work; he’s a character. That really kind of relaxes you. I’ve been with him ever since.

Bayne came to see us. Bayne was having trouble chewing and eating a normal diet. He was concerned about this, he was concerned about his smile. We analyzed his mouth to determine he did not have enough bone to support new teeth, new implants in this case. We did a procedure to regrow the bone of his jaw. After a few months, he was able to have dental implants to replace those missing teeth. A few minutes later, he was able to get his finished teeth. It took a while and then it got easy. I don’t want to make Doctor Collins’s head too big, but he’s really good.
